Combur Test Test strips for high quality and convenience in urinalysis screening and monitoring in laboratories, hospitals and doctors’ offices.
Roche Diagnostics Combur-Test strips, in the USA and Canada known as Chemstrips, are available for both visual and instrumental reading using Urisys 1100 or Urisys 1800 systems. The test strips allow rapid screening for diseases of the kidney and the urogenital tract, carbohydrate metabolism disorders (such as diabetes mellitus), liver diseases and hemolytic disorders.

- Flexible application for rapid screening
The highly sensitive Combur-Test urine test strips are available for visual reading or evaluation with Urisys 1100 or Urisys 1800 urine systems. For correct visual reading the colour scale on the vial label perfectly matches the reaction colours on the test-strip patches. Automated evaluation provides standardized results, virtually eliminates sources of errors and saves time to devote to other tasks.
- Resistance and stability
There is practically no interference with ascorbic acid (protection by iodate), even in the presence of high concentrations of ascorbic acid. The long in-use expiry of up to two years at room temperature favors the use of Combur-Test strips in medical practice.
