Avastin (Bevacizumab) injection is a monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). It is indicated for adult patients with metastatic colorectal cancer, unresectable, locally advanced, recurrent or metastatic non–squamous non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), recurrent glioblastoma, metastatic renal cell carcinoma, persistent, recurrent, or metastatic cervical cancer, patients with stage III or IV epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer following initial surgical resection, either alone or in combination with chemotherapies.
